The quest for the belt is real, and after two seasons of playing fantasy, and despite losing my entire roster to either old age, uselessness, or child abuse charges, I’ve managed to squeak my way into the fantasy football playoffs.
Week 8 produced an abundance of fantasy goodness for a lot of teams in our league. this is the first time since week 17 of the 2011 fantasy football season that 6 or more players scored at least 30 fantasy points. This week only one team scored below 89 points, and Megatron and Crawptimus Prime blew everyone out of the water with a 182 point game! Continue reading

The NFL announced yesterday that they had upheld a suspension against Denver Broncos’ slot receiver Wes Welker for violating the league’s performance enhancing substances policy. Rumor is that he unknowingly ingested amphetamines while taking molly (MDMA) at the Kentucky Derby. Welker will have to sit out the first four games of this season, after his handlers appealed the decision, and the case went to review. Continue reading
